1–7 calendar days are charged at the 1 Week rate.Longer custom dates follow the published 4-week, 2-month and discounted 6-month pricing bases. All prices include VAT.
How custom dates are priced · VAT included 1–4 weeks: £30 / £50 / £70 / £85 fixed bands. Over 4 weeks to under 2 months: calculated from the £85 4-week rate. 2 to under 6 months: calculated from the £160 2-month rate (£80 per calendar-month equivalent). 3 months = £240, 4 months = £320, 5 months = £400 per box. 6 months or more: calculated from the discounted £450 6-month rate (£75 per calendar-month equivalent). Example: 12 months = £900 per box.

Box Storage pricing

Storage rates are per box and already include VAT. Exact-date bookings are calculated from the relevant published rate basis, and your VAT invoice shows the net/VAT breakdown separately. Multi-box storage discounts are applied automatically: 2–3 boxes save 5%, 4–5 save 10%, and 6+ save 15% on storage.

Transport & box access

Clacton-on-Sea collection or return: £25 per pallet box, per selected journey, VAT included.

Outside Clacton-on-Sea: the Collection and Return price is calculated automatically from route mileage and the number of pallet boxes. VAT is included in the amount shown.

Access during storage: £15 handling charge, VAT included, each time we retrieve a stored box so you can add or remove items before the booked storage period ends.

Collection and return are separate journeys. Outside-Clacton transport is quoted automatically before payment; larger loads above 18 pallet boxes require a manual transport quote. The £15 mid-storage access fee only applies if you request access during the storage period.

Useful information before you book

What happens if I only need storage for one day?

The minimum Box Storage charge is one week. Any storage period shorter than seven days is charged at the one-week rate.

How is transport charged outside Clacton-on-Sea?

The website calculates the route mileage from our CO16 8ES base and combines it with the number of pallet boxes to produce the applicable Collection and Return price automatically. The amount shown includes VAT. Online transport pricing is available for up to 18 pallet boxes; larger loads require a manual quote.

Can I book collection but arrange the return later?

Yes. Select collection only. You can contact our team later to arrange a return journey, which will be charged separately at the applicable transport rate.

Can I access my box while it is in storage?

Yes. Contact us to arrange access if you need to add or remove items during the booked storage period. A £15 handling charge, including VAT, applies each time we retrieve a stored box for customer access.

How much can one box hold?

The maximum permitted contents weight is 300 kg per Box Storage unit. Please distribute items safely and do not exceed this limit.

Are my goods automatically insured?

No. Customers are responsible for arranging adequate contents insurance for the full replacement value of their goods while in storage and, where applicable, during collection and return. We record your declared replacement value as part of the booking, but that declaration is not an insurance policy. Liability remains subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Will I get an account?

Yes. If your email is not already registered, the booking creates a customer account and emails you a secure password-setup link after successful payment.
